Recently, Brooks Ambassadors (a group of volunteers who help with many school activities throughout the year) visited Lenart Elementary to talk to them about what to expect in their transition to high school. Subjects included:
Time management
Entrance exams
Personal experiences during the transition
The weight of AP and ACT scores in view of college
Class schedules
Class Load
They are scheduled for a second visit where they are going to discuss:
extracurriculars
communication skills
colleges
careers
being organized
what makes Brooks unique
other high school choices
finals and grade scale/policies/retakes
