Brooks Environmental Club works with a program called Calumet Is My BackYard (CIMBY) to restore forest preserve sites. We take field trips to the sites. This year we will be working at Kickapoo Woods, and consult with experts to help restore and investigate the area. We often cut down invasive trees, pull weeds, identify species, investigate ponds, and of course no field trip is complete without a bonfire and s’mores!
